Diflorasone Diacetate 0.05%: A Steroid Cream for Eczema & Psoriasis - Side Effects? Help from the Community
I was prescribed Diflorasone Diacetate 0.05% Ont 30g for my severe eczema and psoriasis flare-ups. My doctor explained that it's a strong topical corticosteroid to reduce redness, swelling, and itching. However, I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I've heard horror stories about steroid creams. Has anyone else used this cream? I'd love to hear your experiences, especially regarding side effects. Did you notice any of the urgent reactions listed, or was it just dryness, itching, or burning? How did you manage them? And what about long-term use? I'm concerned about things like skin thinning or changes in eyesight. What has your experience been like? Also, I've heard some people mention that this cream can cause weight gain or Cushing's syndrome. Has anyone experienced these issues? Finally, is it safe to use this cream while using other topical treatments? I'd really appreciate any insights or advice!
