Has anyone had success using Sucralfate 1gm Tablets for treating ulcers?
I was recently prescribed Sucralfate 1gm Tablets for treating some ulcers in my stomach. I've heard that it works by forming a protective coating over the ulcers, shielding them from stomach acid and allowing them to heal. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm curious to know how well it worked for you and if you experienced any side effects. I've read that constipation is a common side effect, so I'm trying to prepare for that. Also, I've been instructed to take it on an empty stomach, which seems a bit challenging. Any tips on managing that? Additionally, I'm a bit concerned about the rare but severe side effects mentioned in the documentation. How likely are these, and should I be overly worried? Thanks in advance for any insights!
