I've been using Diclofenac 1% Gel 100gm (rx) for my osteoarthritis in my knees and hands for the past month. It's been a lifesaver for the pain, but I've noticed some side effects. Has anyone else experienced anything similar, or should I be concerned? Side effects I've noticed include mild skin irritation and dizziness, which aren't too bad, but I want to see if anyone else has had similar reactions. Also, I've started taking this gel and want to know how long I should expect to see results? Thanks in advance for any insights!

I've been dealing with some pretty intense muscle aches and a recent sprain from a hiking adventure. My doctor recommended the Diclofenac Epolamine 1.3% Topical Patch to help with the pain and swelling. I applied my first patch yesterday and am hoping to get some feedback from others who've used this. Does it really help with the pain and swelling? How long does it take to see results? Also, are there any specific things to watch out for in terms of side effects? And finally, if the Diclofenac Epolamine 1.3% Topical Patch is similar to a topical diclofenac gel or is there a significant difference?
