I've been using Diclofenac 1% Gel 100gm (rx) for my osteoarthritis in my knees and hands for the past month. It's been a lifesaver for the pain, but I've noticed some side effects. Has anyone else experienced anything similar, or should I be concerned? Side effects I've noticed include mild skin irritation and dizziness, which aren't too bad, but I want to see if anyone else has had similar reactions. Also, I've started taking this gel and want to know how long I should expect to see results? Thanks in advance for any insights!

I'm on my second tube and I've noticed some skin irritation. Is this normal? Should I stop using it?

Another suggestion is to use it along with some heat or cold therapy. It helped me feel better.

I think it's worth mentioning that Diclofenac gel can cause more severe side effects like Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis. These are rare but can be life-threatening. Always be vigilant and seek help if needed.

I heard that some people experience severe skin reactions. Has anyone else had this issue, or am I overreacting?

If it’s helping you, that’s what’s most important. But I would be really worried if you started coughing up blood or something like that.

I was worried about the side effects, but my doctor assured me that they are rare. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I haven't experienced any issues. Just be cautious and follow the instructions carefully.

I had some pretty bad stomach pain when I started using it, but my doctor said it was probably because I was using it too frequently. Cut down my use, and now it's much better. Be sure to consult your doctor if you experience any major side effects.

Diclofenac gel has been a game-changer for my osteoarthritis in my knees. I used to take oral NSAIDs, but they made me sick, so I switched to the gel. It works just as well and has far fewer side effects. Plus, it's not as messy as some other topical creams. However, I did have to be careful to avoid any cuts on my skin when applying it. I've been using for months and have not had any issues.

I've used this gel for years, and it's been great for my joint pain. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully and avoid applying it to broken or irritated skin. It's saved my knees during my rugby games.

I use it on my hands, and it's a godsend. The only side effect I got was some dizziness the first few times I used it. It went away after a few days.
