I started taking Norgest/ethinyl Estradiol tabs 28s a few months ago and have noticed some changes in my skin. The packaging mentioned this might happen, so I've been careful with sunscreen and avoiding sunlamps, but I'm still curious if others have experienced this and what they did. I thought I had my acne under control, but these pills are supposed to help with that too, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I've been taking Nortrel 7/7/7 for about six months now, and I've had some ups and downs. At first, the side effects were pretty rough—headaches, nausea, and some spotting. But after a couple of months, those seemed to settle down. I'm curious, has anyone else experienced this? Did it get better for you too? I've also heard about some more serious side effects, like blood clots and liver issues, and I'm a bit worried. Is anyone knowledgeable about these risks and how common they are? Also, I've gained a bit of weight, which isn't fun. Any tips on managing this? I'm really hoping to stick with this pill because it's been great for my skin and periods, but the weight gain is tough. Also, anyone else experience that weird darkening of the face? It's a bit embarrassing. On the plus side it is helping with my acne, but I'm not sure if it's worth the other side effects. How does anyone else feel about this?
