I recently started taking Norethindrone 0.35mg tablets for birth control and wanted to see if anyone else out there has experience with them. How well does it work? Have you experienced any of the side effects? They told me I needed to take one pill every day at the exact same time for it to work. How well do you remember to take it?? I am so forgetful..

I have to make sure I take my pill at the same time every day. I have an alarm that goes off every day to remind me to take it. I don't want to miss a pill and have to worry about getting pregnant. I hope this helps because I know some people worry if they will forget to take it.

I had some pretty bad cramps when I first started but I just took Advil and I felt a lot better. But it was not that bad compared to the pain I was having before. Try using a heating pad! That's what I do now.

I've been on this for years and it's been great. I had a few months of spotting but it stopped. I also had spots on my face. It made me feel better to know that it's not that uncommon. I want to know how it has helped others? I haven't had any issues — I'm curious to know if the pill works well for other people as well.

I switched to this from the combination pills and the difference is amazing. No more mood swings, no more huge headaches. Yes, you have to take it every day, but it's worth it.

I've been on Norethindrone for about a year now. It's been great for me so far, no serious side effects. I did have some spotting in the first few months, but my doctor said that's normal. I feel good knowing that I get the same birth control pill every day instead of switching like other pills. I don't have to remember to take a placebo, and it's worked effectively for me.

I started taking Norethindrone a few months ago and I've had some pretty bad headaches. I'm not sure if it's the pill or not but they got so bad that I had to miss a couple days of work. I know I have to take it every day, but I'm concerned about these headaches. Have you had this happen?

I felt bloated all the time and my doctor told me to switch to a different progestin. It's been okay. I don't have the bloating anymore, but I'm not having any visible periods since switching pills. I had the same issue on this pill. I know it's working but I've just been told to wait.

I was on this pill but I had really bad acne and it just got worse. I switched to another pill with estrogen and it cleared up. I know progestin is not good for my acne and it made me sad. I have nothing against the pill but I would not recommend it for people with acne problems.

Don't forget, you can report side effects to the FDA if you have issues. The side effects I've read about are scary. But I'm not sure how common they really are. I know I want to report any side effects I have. I think it's good to know the risks.

This is the only pill I could take cause of my migraines. I never miss a dose because I've set a reminder on my phone. You'll get used to it.
