I've been taking Abatron AF Tablets for a few weeks now, and I'm curious about everyone's experiences. These tablets are supposed to help with anemia and prevent constipation, but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced any of the more serious side effects mentioned. I've had a bit of stomach pain, but nothing too severe. Have any of you had issues like black, tarry stools? I’m also curious if anyone knows if the green stool color change is common. Any insights or advice would be appreciated!

I’m not a doctor, but I’ve been studying nutrition for a while. The iron in these tablets is essential, but sometimes it can be hard on the stomach. Taking them with food can help reduce the side effects. That's what I do, and it's worked well for me.

I experienced constipation initially, but it went away after a few days. The stool softener in these tablets really helps! Just make sure to drink plenty of water. Oh, and don't worry about the green stool—it's just the iron, totally normal.

I think it takes a while for your body to adjust to the iron supplement. I had some initial discomfort, but it went away after a few weeks. Just give it some time and stay hydrated. Your body will likely adjust to the supplement in due time.

Why do we have to suffer through these awful side effects when they claim to prevent anemia? It’s frustrating. Sometimes I wish I could just take straight iron and folic acid without all the other stuff.

I've been taking these for a month and I haven't had any issues yet. But I did notice that my stool color changed to green a couple of times, which was a bit alarming at first. Looked it up and it seems to be a common side effect.

Abatron AF has been a real lifesaver for me. I had severe anemia, and these tablets really helped. The stool softener is a bonus! Just make sure to consult your doctor regularly to monitor your iron levels.

I’ve been on Abatron AF for about six months now, and I’ve barely had any side effects. I did experience some mild stomach pain at the beginning, but it went away quickly. I’ve also read that taking a probiotic can help alleviate any gastrointestinal issues. It’s worth a shot if you're struggling with that.

I’m glad I found this thread. I just started taking Abatron AF and was worried about the potential side effects. It’s comforting to know that others have had similar experiences and that the doctor should be consulted for immediate care.

Has anyone tried other iron supplements and found them to be better than Abatron AF? I'm curious if there are alternatives that might have fewer side effects.

I know someone who had a severe allergic reaction to these tablets. Black, tarry stools, fever, and stomach cramps. It was really scary, so please be careful and consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
