I've recently started Abelcet 5mg/ml Inj, 20ml for a serious fungal infection, and I'm looking for others who have experienced it or have information. This medicine is administered through an IV and is designed to be less harmful to the kidneys, but there are still potential severe side effects that require careful monitoring. I'd love to hear from anyone who has taken this drug, their experiences, and tips for managing the side effects. How often were you monitored? Did you have any serious reactions? What did you do to manage the more minor side effects? Your input would be greatly appreciated!

I found that drinking lots of water helped with the side effects. It didn't make them go away, but it made them more bearable. Good luck, everyone.

Has anyone experienced any long-term effects from taking Abelcet? I'm worried about what might happen after I finish the treatment. Anyone have any info on that?

I had to take this for a few weeks. The infusion site was really sore and I had some stomach issues, but nothing crazy. Just keep an eye on how you feel and don't hesitate to call your doc.

I don't know why people are so scared of this drug. You just have to be smart about it. I took it and I'm fine. Side effects were nothing to write home about. But yeah, I did notice dark urine. I was pretty freaked out, but my doctor said it was normal.

I had a friend who took this and ended up with severe liver issues. It's scary stuff. But I guess that's why you have to be so careful with it.

I had a really bad reaction to Abelcet. I started getting hives and had trouble breathing. I ended up in the ER. If you notice anything like that, get help ASAP.

I had to take Abelcet for a bad fungal infection a while back. The side effects were rough, but I made it through. Make sure you stay hydrated and talk to your doctor about any side effects right away. You can't just tough it out with this stuff.
