I've been prescribed Abilify 5mg Tablets for my bipolar disorder. It's been a few weeks, and I'm noticing some side effects like dizziness and weight gain. Has anyone else experienced these? I'm also curious about the more severe side effects mentioned in the documentation. How common are these really? I want to be prepared but also not scare myself unnecessarily. Any insights or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I think some of the side effects can be managed with lifestyle changes. I started exercising more and watching my diet, and it helped a lot with the weight gain and energy levels.

I wish someone would've warned me about the drooling! It was so embarrassing at first, but it got better over time. Hang in there!

I've heard that some people experience changes in mood and behavior. Just be aware of any sudden shifts and talk to your doctor if you notice anything unusual.

I had the dizziness for the first few weeks, but it went away. Keep an eye on it, and if it gets worse, definitely talk to your doctor. But don't worry, you will get through it.

The really severe side effects are pretty rare, but it's always good to be aware. I had a friend who experienced some neurological symptoms, but it was caught early and managed. Just keep an open line of communication with your doctor.

I've been on Abilify for a couple of years now, and the weight gain has been tough. I've had to really change my diet to manage it. Best of luck!

I had a really bad experience with Abilify. I developed a severe allergic reaction and had to switch to another medication. Be very careful and pay attention to any signs of a reaction. I know it's scary, but your health is number one!
