I've been struggling with severe acne for years, and after trying countless treatments, my dermatologist finally prescribed me Absorica 20mg Capsules. I was pretty nervous about it, given the long list of serious side effects I read on the pamphlet. On one hand, I'm told it can clear my skin; on the other, it could lead to severe issues, especially if I get pregnant. I started the treatment about two months ago and have seen some improvements, but I'm constantly worried about these potential risks. I was wondering, has anyone else tried Absorica, and how did it work out for you? Are there any tips for managing the side effects, or should I be prepared for the worst?

I've been on Absorica for a while now, and I must say it's a double-edged sword. My skin has never been clearer, but I've had some scary moments. I woke up one morning with my eyes all red and irritated, it was really alarming. I called my doctor right away, and he told me it was a side effect that could happen. Now I just keep an eye on things and try to stay calm.

I started Absorica last year. The first month was rough, but I noticed a significant improvement in my skin after three months. I also experienced dryness, so I drank plenty of water and used lotion. I have to remember to use sunscreen now, too, because my skin is super sensitive. Can someone tell me if this sensitivity ever goes away? During my treatment, I also felt extremely exhausted and had no energy. I was worried that it was because of the medication, but I went to my doctor, and they told me it was normal.

Dude, this thread is intense. I've heard horror stories about this medication, but I also know people who swear by it. It's crazy how different people react to the same thing.

I was on Absorica for about six months, and it did clear up my acne significantly. But, I had to deal with really dry skin and lips, and I felt so tired all the time. The worst part was the mood swings—I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster. I had to switch to a different medication because it was just too much to handle.

Did anyone else get any weird food cravings? I definitely developed some new, strange habits when I was on Absorica.

I noticed some weird stuff with my muscles. I had some aches and pains, but thankfully they went away. Is it normal to feel other muscle soreness while on this medication? I also remember feeling some chest pain, but it was vague and happened off and on. It was enough to make me call my doctor, and he told me it was a side effect.

I think the worst part for me was the emotional side effects. I felt so down sometimes, and I couldn't shake it off. I had to talk to my doctor about increasing my exercise and getting more sunlight. It helped a little, but nothing made it go away entirely. I do feel better since I've stopped taking Absorica. I'm upvoting this thread because I think people need to be aware of the emotional side effects. It's a serious discussion to have with your doctor.

I had a horrible experience with Absorica. I was in the hospital for a week because of liver problems. I had no idea it could do that. I'm glad I'm okay, but I wish I had been more informed regarding the side effects before I started taking it. I'm sharing this so that others know the risks and can talk to their doctors before making a decision. I just can't believe that a pill can do this to you.

I had a friend who took Absorica and he broke out in hives. It was scary, and he had to go to the ER. That's definitely something I keep in mind when thinking about this medication.

Yikes, I'm sorry to hear about your experiences with Absorica. It sounds like it's a pretty intense medication. Just a heads-up, always use two forms of birth control while on this medication. It's not worth the risk.
