I've been on Absorica for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my severe acne. I've tried everything else, and nothing worked until this. However, I'm a bit concerned about the serious side effects. Has anyone else experienced any of the severe side effects listed in the description? How did you handle them? I'm also curious if anyone knows more details about why some people experience such severe side effects while others don't. I've noticed a scary potential for serious illness while reading about it. Some of the side effects, like the depression or mood changes, seem particularly worrying, especially if they're potentially life-threatening. Can anyone share their experiences or insights on how to manage these side effects?

I think the biggest concern is that Absorica can cause birth defects. Women on this medication need to use two forms of birth control and have monthly pregnancy tests. It's a lot of work, but totally worth it if Absorica can clear up my acne. I've known people who nearly had to stop because the pregnancy tests were too erratic. That’s a bit scary.

I was so scared of the side effects, but luckily, I haven't had any major issues. Just the dry skin and lips, but it's worth it for the clear skin. I use a good moisturizer and keep my skin hydrated, and it's manageable. I think it's important to weigh the pros and cons and make an informed decision.

I agree, staying in touch with your doctor is crucial. I had some weird hearing issues and my doctor picked up on it right away. We adjusted the dosage and it got better over time.

I felt my skin and lips drying out was a major deal early on, but I found a great moisturizer that worked well. But I nearly quit because of the mood changes. It was really scary, but my doctor helped manage it.

I heard there are some lifestyle changes that can help with side effects. Like drinking plenty of water and avoiding spicy foods. Has anyone tried that?
