I've been taking Accrufer 30mg Capsules for the past three weeks to help with my iron deficiency anemia. Has anyone else tried this medication? I'm really hoping it's boosting my energy levels as expected. I've experienced some slight stomach upset but I'm not sure if this is normal or if I should be worried. Do these side effects go away over time? And, does anyone know if Accrufer is as effective as other iron supplements? So far, my body seems to be tolerating the medication, but I'm still on the fence about any notable benefits.

I switched to Accrufer from another iron supplement because of the stomach issues. It's been much better, but I still get some bloating.

I get the symptoms then the relief of symptoms. I have been on them since May and they have improved my situation. They do seem to wreck havoc with constipation though.

I've had no issues with Accrufer but I take it at night before bed. It helps with any potential stomach upset. Plus, I wake up with energy instead of feeling groggy in the morning.

I took some before pregnancy and it helped me immensely. I got pregnant and never got to finish my course due to going on prenatal vitamins. My doctor assured me that was okay. I think I'll get back on Accrufer after the baby is born and I stop taking those vitamins. Pregnancy can really suck the iron out of you.

I've been on Accrufer for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for me. My energy levels have definitely improved and the stomach issues I had initially have subsided. Just stick with it and give your body time to adjust.

Make sure you talk to your doctor before stopping any medication. Sudden changes can be harmful. Listen to your body, but don't self-diagnose too much.

I can't deal with the smell of the pills, and the taste if it's crumbled is ughhh. I just can't stick with it. Taking it with food helps, but the smell really bothers me.

I took Accrufer for a week and had awful constipation. I switched back to my old supplement. Might not work for everyone.
