I've just started taking Accupril 20mg Tablets for my high blood pressure and heart failure. I'm familiar with the basics, but I want to know more about the potential side effects and how to manage them. Does anyone have personal experiences or tips on dealing with these side effects? Also, I'm curious about how this medication has helped others in the long term. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, I had a persistent cough, I thought it was Covid, turned out it was Accupril.

Accupril saved my life. Literally. It is an awesome drug, and it is not for everyone. You have to take it as prescribed, and communicate with your doctor. If you have kidney problems, Accupril can be dangerous. Blood tests are essential every month. This drug can be dangerous, so listen to your doctor.

This is a very serious medication, please do not rely on patient experiences. ACE inhibitors can be very dangerous and sometimes fatal. If you have kidney problems, your gp may be too keen to prescribe ACE inhibitors. First, do no harm.

I've noticed some dizziness and lightheadedness since starting Accupril. I'm going to talk to my doctor about this, but has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you manage it?
