Acticlate 75mg Tablets: My experience and some scary symptoms to watch out for
I was prescribed Acticlate 75mg Tablets (Doxycycline) for a severe case of acne. I've been taking it for about a week now, and while I've seen some improvement in my skin, I've also experienced some side effects that have me a bit worried. I had a similar experience with Acticlate. I started noticing some stomach upset and diarrhea, but my doctor said it was normal. However, I was really scared when I started having a headache. My doctor said it could be a sign of increased pressure in the skull, which can occur with this antibiotic. However, she said that most of the time it goes away on its own and that I should be fine. I'm not sure what to do in the meantime. Also, had anyone had any problems with their vision?
Do any of you have experience with raised intracranial pressure? I started having headaches and my vision started to blur a little bit. I'm really worried that this means something is seriously wrong.
I've taken Acticlate for acne before, but I didn't have actual side effects.
I had an allergic reaction to Acticlate. I started itching all over and my face swelled up. I had to go to the emergency room. I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue?
I had a weird side effect with this med and had to discontinue it. If you're experiencing blood tinged diarrhea. Immediate doctor appointment. The antibiotics can cause C. diff-associated diarrhea, which can be life threatening.
I’m glad I found this forum. I've been taking Acticlate for a while and I wasn’t sure if some of the side effects were normal. I’ve had a few pangs of stomach pain, but the really worrying one was that I started feeling dizzy. I thought it was just a reaction to the medication, but I read somewhere that it could be a symptom of a serious issue. I’m definitely going to talk to my doctor about this.
