Hey everyone, I recently started taking Actigall 300mg Capsules (Ursodiol) for my gallstones and primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). I've heard mixed things about it, so I wanted to share my experience and get some insights from others who might have gone through similar situations. So far, I've had a few side effects, but nothing too severe. It’s definitely worth learning from others’ experiences to get a better idea of what to expect. If you've taken this medication, I'd love to hear about any challenges or benefits you've noticed. There's a lot of information out there, so let's break it down together! How long did it take for your symptoms to improve or resolve? have you experienced any serious side effects?

If anyone is experiencing side effects, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose. Sometimes that can make a big difference. I had to go through a few adjustments, but I'm feeling much better now.

I've been taking Actigall for about a year now, and it's been a mixed experience. The gallstones are definitely shrinking, but the nausea and headache have been tough. My doctor suggested taking it with food, which helped a bit. It's a balancing act, but overall, I think it's worth it.

I've been on Actigall for about six months now, and it's been a lifesaver. My gallstones have significantly reduced, and my liver function has improved. The side effects were mild at first—mostly just some stomach discomfort and nausea—but they went away after a few weeks. Stick with it; it gets better!

Has anyone noticed hair loss? I've been on Actigall for a month, and I'm starting to see some hair fall out. It's worrying me a bit. I know hair loss is a possible side effect, but I was hoping it wouldn't happen to me. Any advice?

I really hope this medication works for you. I've heard mixed reviews, but I believe it's worth giving it a shot if you have no other options. Just make sure to stay in close contact with your doctor and report any issues right away. I did and it helped me a lot!

Be careful, though. I had a terrible reaction to Actigall. I developed severe abdominal swelling and stomach cramps. It was so bad I had to go to the ER. Turns out I had a condition called Crohn’s disease, which can complicate the situation. If you experience any of these symptoms, get medical help immediately. It's not worth risking your health.

I took Actigall for my gallstones and it was a nightmare. I had severe constipation and abdominal pain. Not worth it for me. I switched to a different treatment and it’s been much better.

actually, Actigall really helped me. My PBC symptoms improved a lot, and I didn't experience any major side effects. I did get a bit of dizziness and diarrhea at first, but it settled down. It’s been a game-changer for me.
