I've been using Adapal/benz 0.3-2.5% Gel(pmp) 45gm for the past three months to treat my acne, and I've seen some significant improvements. This gel combines adapalene and benzoyl peroxide, which work together to unclog pores, reduce inflammation, and kill acne-causing bacteria. However, I've also experienced some side effects, particularly dryness and irritation. I wanted to share my experience and get some advice from others who might have used this gel. How is your experience? What are some tips to mitigate the side effects? Also, what should you do if you experience more severe, urgent side effects?

You should definitely consult a doctor if you experience any of the urgent side effects listed. It's not worth risking your health over acne. I had a friend who had a severe reaction and it was scary. I also highly recommend checking out the FDA's website for more information on reporting side effects.

I've been using this for about a month now, and it's been a game-changer. My acne has definitely improved, but I've had to deal with some pretty significant dryness. Has anyone found a good moisturizer that works well with this gel?

I'm glad I found this thread. I just started using this gel and was worried about the side effects. It's good to know that others are experiencing the same things. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

It's crazy how different this gel works on different people. My sister swears by it, but I can't stand the way it makes my skin feel. I don't get the same results she does either, which is frustrating. Has anyone found a way to make it more effective or less irritating?

I've been using this gel for a few weeks and honestly it hasn't done much for my acne at all. I feel like it's just dried out my skin and made things worse. I thought it would be my holy grail, but it just wasn't for me.

I've found that using a gentle cleanser before applying the gel helps a lot with the dryness. I also make sure to moisturize throughout the day. It's been a big help!

I've had great success with this gel, but it took a while to see results. I think a lot of people give up too soon because they don't see immediate changes. Stick with it for at least a couple of months before deciding whether it's working for you.
