So, I've been using Adapalene 0.3% Gel for about a month now, and I'm not sure if I'm loving or hating it. It's supposed to help with acne, but the side effects are no joke. I've been dealing with some serious dryness and irritation, and I'm not sure if it's worth it. Has anyone else had this experience? I've been thinking about switching to a different topical treatment, but I don't want to give up on this one just yet. What are your thoughts on Adapalene? Any tips for making the side effects more manageable? I'd really appreciate some advice!

Y'all need to use a moisturizer with this, and maybe a gentle face wash. It's baked my skin into a desert, but I’ve stuck with it. My skin is so much smoother, and the acne is clearing up. It’s worth the dryness.

I ended up switching to a different topical treatment because the irritation was too much for me. But honestly, my skin is so much better now that I'm sticking with it. I had zero issues with it.

Adapalene saved my skin. I was miserable with cystic acne. This stuff helped

I used it for a week and I got massive peeling. I quit using it and my skin went back to normal.

Honestly, you just have to tough it out for the first few weeks. The Adapalene 0.3% does work, but it takes time to see the results and to let your skin get used to it. It's worth it to stick it out, but if you're still having issues after a month, talk to your doctor.

I've had really good experiences with it, but everyone is different. I had to use it in tandem with some other products to keep my skin from getting too dry. You might want to try using it with some hyaluronic acid or a thick moisturizer to keep the dryness at bay.

I've been using Adapalene for a while now, and I've found that it does work, but you have to give your skin time to adjust. Make sure to start by using it every other day, even if you have to use overnight, and gradually work up to every day. It can cause dryness, so make sure to use a good moisturizer to help combat that. It could take a few weeks to see improvements, but it's worth it. Just stick with it.

I had severe acne and used this until I was in my mid-20s. I loved it.
