I've recently been prescribed Admelog 100u/ml Insulin injection and I'm looking to hear from others who have experience with this. The doctor said it's fast-acting and should be taken right before or after meals. I have been experiencing some low blood sugar reactions. Has anyone else dealt with this? How do you manage it? My doctor mentioned the side effects are mild, for the most part. What have you guys experienced? How do you handle the injection sites, I am afraid of the lumpy skin that people were talking about. And lastly, does anyone have tips for storing the insulin correctly, I don't want it to go to waste!

I was worried about the injection site reactions, but I haven’t had any issues so far. Just make sure to clean the area really well before injecting. But I've always been good with injections, so it might be different for others.

I've never had any serious side effects with Admelog. Just the occasional headache or upset stomach. But I definitely notice a difference in how my blood sugar reacts to meals. It's a bit scary how quickly it can drop if you're not careful though, so always keep an eye on your glucose levels.

Anyone else have to deal with the flu-like symptoms? I got them the first week I started Admelog, but they went away after that.

Just a heads up, I found this article about managing low blood sugar reactions with Admelog. It might be helpful for anyone struggling with that. https://www.healthline.com/health/diabetes/lose-weight-with-insulin

I think Admelog is okay, but I still prefer my old insulin. It’s more of a personal choice, but I feel more comfortable with my previous medication. I know a lot of people swear by Admelog, though.

I've been on Admelog for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my post-meal blood sugar control. I usually take it right before I eat and it kicks in super fast. Low blood sugar has been a challenge at times. I always carry glucose tablets with me just in case. Also, make sure to rotate your injection sites to avoid those lumpy skin issues. It's also worth noting that Admelog seems to work better for some than others, so if you're not seeing the results you want, it might be worth talking to your doctor about other options.

I’ve been on Admelog for a few months and it's been great! Just make sure to keep your insulin at the right temperature. I've had issues with the insulin not working as well when it's too warm. Always good to keep it in the fridge when you can.
