I was recently prescribed Adoxa 100mg Tablets for a severe case of acne, and I've been taking them for a few weeks now. I wanted to share my experience and gather some insights from others who might have used this medication. I've found that the antibiotic works wonders on the affected skin, but my stomach has been a bit off, and I’ve also had some diarrhea. I know these are common side effects, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this and what they did to manage it. This medication is really effective, but I'm also wondering if anyone has stopped taking the pill because of the side effects?

I took Adoxa for a month and didn’t experience any side effects. Might be worth talking to your doc about increasing your dosage, if you're doing okay.

I took Adoxa for a UTI and had similar stomach issues. My doctor recommended taking it with food, which helped a lot. Give it a try!

Did it work well on your acne? I’ve been thinking about trying it for a mild case.

I had a bad reaction to Adoxa, even got a rash on my neck and chest. Unfortunately, I ended up in the ER because I thought it was a COVID symptom. Turned out, it was a really bad reaction to the medicine. I'm glad it wasn't COVID.

Adoxa saved my skin! I had severe acne for years, but after a few months on Adoxa, it cleared up completely. Totally worth the side effects, in my opinion.

This is a good topic, I had to discontinue Adoxa and got a prescription for antibiotics in the tetracycline class. I had a bad reaction and had to switch. Akne really sucks! 😒

I tried Adoxa and it just didn’t work for me. I had to switch to something else. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

These drugs can really mess with your stomach. Try some probiotics to help with the diarrhea. It’s worth a shot if you're stuck with them.

Just a heads-up, make sure to drink plenty of water and avoid sunlight as much as possible. Doxycycline can make you really sensitive to the sun. Plus, it may stain your teeth if you're taking it long-term!
