I'm worried about the side effects too, especially the high blood pressure. I have a family history, so I'm going to keep a close eye on that.
I had to stop taking Advair because it gave me really bad throat irritation. It was pretty miserable. I switched to another inhaler and it's been better.
I had a mild allergic reaction, got a rash, but it cleared up quickly with some Benadryl. Definitely worth talking to your doctor about any concerns.
For me, the benefits outweigh the risks. I had some breathing issues in the beginning, but I just used my rescue inhaler and everything was fine.
