Advate 1000unit Inj, 1 Vial: My Experiences and Questions about this hemophilia A treatment
I've recently started using Advate 1000unit Inj, 1 Vial for my hemophilia A. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. How has it worked for you? Have you experienced any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I've had some irritation at the injection site and a bit of a headache, but nothing too severe. I'm also wondering about the long-term effects and if anyone has had to switch to a different treatment. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm curious about the long-term effects too. Has anyone been on Advate for more than 5 years?
I'm glad to hear that Advate is working for you. You're right! The peace of mind it gives is priceless. I hope that continues for you!
I had a really bad allergic reaction when I first started using Advate. I had a feeling of nausea and my skin started to blister. My doctor switched me to a different brand and I haven't had any issues since. Be careful and pay attention to your body.
I had some chest pain and tightness in the chest a few months back. I was scared but it was just gas after I saw my doctor. I guess sometimes you panic when you are so used to using these medications. I wasn't sure what was happening. So it seems like some people may have false positives.
I've been on Advate for about a year now, and I've noticed that my body is building up a tolerance to it. My doctor is considering switching me to a different treatment soon. I'm hoping to find something else that works as well.
I've been on Advate for a few years now, and it's been a game-changer for me. I highly recommend it. I experienced irritation at the injection site but have used numbing cream and warm compresses to manage the inflammation.
