Hello everyone, I've recently started using Ajovy for my migraines. It's an injectable medicine that works by blocking CGRP, which is supposed to help prevent migraine headaches. I've been using it for a few months now and have had some mixed experiences. On the one hand, it seems to be helping with my migraines. I don't know about you guys, but I always feel a bit anxious about injectables. Hope the side effects are worth it.
I wish they had a pill version. Injections always make me nervous.
I’ve found that using a cold compress on the injection site helps with the irritation. Ask your doc about it if you’re experiencing discomfort. Also, make sure you’re not injecting into any areas that are sensitive or have had reactions in the past.
