Hello everyone, I'm new to this community, and I wanted to share my experience with Akynzeo 235-0.25 Inj, 1vial. I received it as part of my chemotherapy treatment, and while it did help with nausea, I experienced some serious side effects. I want to start a discussion about this drug, the side effects, and how others have coped. I'm also curious to know if anyone has experienced serotonin syndrome symptoms before? It's a serious condition, and I'm worried about the possibility it is not well known. It's important for everyone to be aware of the warning signs.

I had Akynzeo during my chemo, and it helped a lot with the nausea. I just wish I had known about the potential for serotonin syndrome. I had no idea what to look out for.

I noticed some redness and constipation, but nothing too bad. I drank plenty of water and took some over-the-counter meds for constipation. My oncologist was great about managing symptoms.

I had a really bad headache after my first Akynzeo infusion. My doctor said it was a common side effect and gave me something for the pain. It didn't come back in subsequent treatments.

Serotonin syndrome is no joke. My friend had it from mixing meds, she had a fever, rapid heartbeat, and hallucinations. They had to hospitalise her.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Akynzeo was a godsend for me during chemo, but I did experience some weird skin reactions. Nothing near as serious as serotonin syndrome though. I wore loose, breathable clothing to help with that. If you experience any allergic reaction, seek medical help right away.
