Alarmed by Cephalexin 250mg/5ml Susp 200ml Side Effects
I was prescribed Cephalexin 250mg/5ml Susp 200ml for a urinary tract infection, but I'm freaking out about the side effects. I've heard of people having severe reactions, like Stevens-Johnson syndrome and liver problems. I'm already feeling a bit nauseous and have some stomach pain. Should I be worried? And can anyone share their experience with these side effects? Are they manageable or did anyone have to stop taking it?

Some people just don't have good reactions to certain antibiotics. Do you have any history of antibiotic allergies in your family? Maybe that’s making you more prone to the side effects.
I've had Cephalexin before for a skin infection and felt fine. But everyone is different. Trust your instincts and contact your doctor if you feel too unwell.
I was prescribed this for a throat infection and really didn’t notice anything major. Don’t let the worry get to you too much.
I had a similar prescription and experienced some stomach issues but nothing serious. Just make sure you're staying hydrated. If something feels seriously off, call your doctor, but don't panic before you need to.
