I recently started taking Alendronate 70mg/75ml Solution for osteoporosis and have been experiencing some discomfort. I want to share my experience and hear from others who have taken this medication. I've read about the potential serious side effects, but I'm more concerned about the long-term effects and how to manage them. I've also been wondering about the jawbone problems that can occur. Does anyone have tips on maintaining oral health while on this medication? Also, how do you handle the common side effects like upset stomach and constipation? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for sharing! It's comforting to know I'm not alone in dealing with these side effects. I'll definitely make sure to stay hydrated and upright after taking my dose. I'll also keep an eye on my oral health. Thanks again!

I had a lot of issues with muscle pain and cramping after taking Alendronate. It was a nightmare. I ended up switching to a different medication that was a lot gentler on my body. Definitely worth discussing with the doctor.

I started taking Alendronate because I have a family history of osteoporosis. I've been religious about taking it with a full glass of water and staying upright. It helps a lot with the stomach issues. I also see my dentist every three months to keep my oral health in check.

I had to switch to a different medication after I started noticing some severe jaw pain. It turned out I had some dental issues that made the medication riskier for me. Regular dental check-ups are a must, and make sure your dentist knows about all the meds you're on.

I had no idea this medication could cause jaw problems. Now I'm paranoid every time I feel a twinge in my jaw while on it! It's good to know this from others, but I think everyone should also be aware that while these problems are rare, being aware is half the battle.
