Allergy Relf (Cetirizine 10mg Tabs) Review: Does It Really Work for Allergy Symptoms?
I've been using Allergy Relf (Cetirizine 10mg Tabs) for a few weeks now to manage my seasonal allergies. It's been a lifesaver for my sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes. However, I've noticed some drowsiness which is a bit concerning since it's labeled as a 'non-drowsy' antihistamine. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if I should switch to a different brand or try a higher dose. Also, I'm curious about the side effects like dry mouth and difficulty sleeping. How do you manage these? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've had allergic reactions before, and I make sure to call the doctor immediately if I feel any tightness or difficulty breathing. Worth noting — Cetirizine helped me feel better, so I continued using it even when I had a bad reaction before.
I've had trouble with Cetirizine making my mouth feel dry. I should carry gum or mints for this.
I've been taking Allergy Relf for years and it's been great for my hives and itchy skin. I haven't experienced any severe side effects, but I do feel a bit tired sometimes. I just take it before bed and it's not a big deal.
I don't have any issues with Cetirizine at all. I'll take it and it makes me feel better. I take my allergies seriously.
I've had issues with Cetirizine making me feel drowsy, but I've found that taking it with food helps reduce the drowsiness. It's worth a try if you're feeling tired all the time.
I switched to Allergy Relf from another brand because I kept feeling drowsy. While it's better, I still get a dry mouth. I keep a water bottle next to me all day and that helps a lot. As for managing the drowsiness, maybe try taking it at night if you can?
Cetirizine is great, but it's not for everyone. I tried it and it gave me a rash that was awful. So, make sure the doctor knows about any side effects, even if they're minor at first.
For the kids, have you tried giving them the liquid form? It's easier to adjust the dose that way and might help with the stomach pain. Make sure to talk to the doctor before doing this.
You should definitely report any side effects to the FDA if they bother you. There are often alternative medications that might work better if you have serious reactions to this one.
I've had to switch to a different brand because Cetirizine made me feel too tired, so do some research about different antihistamines if you feel sleepy.
