Allopurinol 200mg Tablets: My Experience and Side Effects

I’ve been taking Allopurinol for a few months now, and while I haven’t experienced any severe side effects, I did have some mild stomach upset. My doctor recommended taking the tablets with food, and that seemed to help a lot. Anyone else have tips for managing side effects?

I've had some really bad reactions to Allopurinol to the point I had to stop taking it. I started to notice blood in my urine and really bad pain in my back and abdomen. After a trip to the ER they did tests for kidney stones and told me to stop the medication immediately.
