I've been taking Altace 10mg Capsules (Ramipril) for about 6 months now to manage my high blood pressure. Overall, I've had a positive experience with it, but there have been some ups and downs. Initially, I noticed some mild dizziness and fatigue, but those symptoms subsided after a few weeks. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. What side effects have you experienced? Have any of you had to deal with more severe issues like kidney problems or allergic reactions? I've been lucky so far, but it's always good to be prepared. How do you manage any side effects you've encountered, and what advice would you give to someone who is just starting out on this medication?

Just started Altace and feeling a bit tired. Wondering if this will get better. Does anyone know how long it takes to adjust?

I've been on Altace for a while and noticed my blood pressure is much better controlled. The side effects were minor for me—just a bit of dizziness at first, but that went away. I'm happy with the results, but I'm always cautious about any symptoms. I always recommend talking to your doctor regularly if you're taking this medication.

I'm on Altace for my heart health. I’ve had a persistent cough for months. I’ve read that this can be a side effect and it has been a bit annoying. I’m wondering if anyone else has this issue, and if so, have you found any remedies? Should I ask my doctor about switching meds?

This medication is great but the pharmacist forgot to tell me about the persistent cough. I just thought I was getting sick. Had I known ahead of time it would have been useful information.

I'm on Altace too, and I've had some weird symptoms. I got a bit dizzy a few times, but my doctor said it happens sometimes, It's not annoying but I have been feeling tired pretty often. I try to get more sleep and drink lots of water. It helps a bit, but I'm still adjusting. Has anybody else had this issue?

I've been on Altace for a year now. It's been great for my blood pressure, but the persistent cough was annoying at first. My doctor said it's a common side effect and should go away. I also experienced some stomach pain but that went away within a week.

I switched from another ACE inhibitor to Altace and noticed no difference in side effects. Just a deeper cough sometimes, but it's not too bad. It's managed my blood pressure well, though.
