Hello everyone, I recently started taking Altace 5mg Capsules for high blood pressure. The doctor said it helps relax blood vessels, making it easier for my heart to pump blood. I'm curious to know if anyone else has taken this medication and what their experiences have been? I've heard about some potential side effects like dizziness or coughing, and I'm a bit concerned. Have any of you experienced these? How did you manage them? I'd really appreciate some insight from others who have gone through this.

I had to stop because it caused severe nausea and vomiting. My body just couldn't handle it. I'm on Lisinopril now.

My doctor prescribed Altace for me, and I've had no issues. In fact, I feel a lot better and energetic. The doctor said it might take a few weeks to see the full effects, but it's worth it.

I'm on it for heart failure. The side effects aren't great, but it's managing my symptoms well. Just be aware of the potential issues and talk to your doctor if anything comes up.

I've been on Altace for a few months now, and I've had a persistent cough. My doctor said it's a known side effect and gave me a different medication to manage it. It's definitely not fun, but it's better than the alternative.

This drug saved my life after my heart attack. No more dizziness. No more fainting. I love it.

I've been taking Ramipril for about a year now. The side effects were a bit overwhelming at first — dizziness, fatigue and such, but they subsided after a while. Just keep an open line with your doctor about the symptoms.

My aunt has been taking Altace for years and she has had no issues. Actually she recommended it to me when I was having trouble managing my blood pressure.

I had a really bad reaction to Altace. I woke up with a rash all over my body and couldn't breathe. It was scary, but I got to the hospital in time. I'd recommend being extremely careful with this medication.

What exactly are the symptoms to look out for? The list seems extremely detailed, I'm a bit worried.

I've had kidney problems with this drug. My doctor switched me to a different medication to avoid any further issues. So, I think it's important to be aware of the signs and know when to stop.
