I was recently prescribed Amlodipine-Benaz 5/20mg capsules to manage my high blood pressure. It's a combination of amlodipine and benazepril, which work together to relax blood vessels and reduce fluid in the body, thereby lowering blood pressure. This has reduced my risk of heart attack and stroke. I've been taking it for a few weeks now, and I wanted to share my experience and ask others who have taken this medication about their experiences. I've heard mixed reviews about the side effects, so I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced dizziness or coughing, or if there are any tips to manage these side effects.

I take the same meds and have noticed that it causes a dry cough, which can be pretty annoying. My doctor suggested switching to a different blood pressure medication that doesn't cause this side effect. But I'm scared to change because this one works well!

I take this med and I like how it has reduced my blood pressure, but I've noticed some swelling in my ankles. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Be careful with the dosage. My doctor started me on a low dose and gradually increased it. I had some issues with side effects when I tried to jump straight to the higher dose. Also, drink plenty of water and avoid excessive salt intake. This can help manage some of the side effects.

I've been taking Amlodipine-Benaz for over 5 months now, and it has helped maintain my blood pressure. The side effects have been minimal for me. I actually feel better than I have in years. The only issue I've had is a little dizziness, but it's manageable. Just be careful when you first start taking it. It can make you feel a bit off.

I've been on this medication for a year now, and it's been a lifesaver. My blood pressure has stabilized, and I haven't had any major side effects. Just the occasional dizziness, but it goes away quickly.

I started feeling dizzy and lightheaded after taking this medication. It turns out it was because I had forgotten to eat breakfast. The medication can make you feel a little woozy if you take it on an empty stomach. It’s happened to me a few times, so now I make sure to eat something before taking it.

I've noticed that the medication makes me really tired. Is that common? It's hard to focus on work sometimes.
