I was recently prescribed Amlodipine Besylate 10mg Tablets to manage my high blood pressure. This is a common medication, but I have some questions and concerns, and would love to hear from anyone with experience. I've read that it works by relaxing blood vessels, which helps your heart pump blood more efficiently. I'm curious to know if anyone has experienced any significant side effects or if it has been effective in managing blood pressure. I've also heard that it can cause dizziness and fatigue, which I'm a bit worried about. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm hoping to get a better understanding of this medication and how it might affect me. Thanks for your help!

Flushing and dizziness were the worst, but it worked perfectly for my blood pressure.

I was on this for a while, but I think it helped my blood pressure a lot. I did experience some fatigue and weakness, but it was manageable. My doctor said it can be part of the adaptation process.

I had some serious side effects with Amlodipine. I experienced severe dizziness and fainting. I had to stop taking it. I would recommend discussing all the risks thoroughly with your doctor first.

Be careful with this one. I had a really bad reaction to it. I ended up in the ER with severe swelling and shortness of breath. Turns out I was allergic to it.

I'm on the fence about this. I've heard both good and bad things. If it helps you manage your blood pressure, great. But be aware of the serious side effects, like swelling and abnormal muscle movements. Make sure you talk to your doctor about any concerns.
