Ammonium Lac 12% Lotion: My Experience with Lactic Acid for Dry Skin
I've been using Ammonium Lac 12% Lotion for a few weeks now to deal with my dry, flaky skin. The lotion contains lactic acid, which is supposed to be a natural moisturizer and exfoliant. It has helped smooth out some of the rough patches, but I've also experienced some burning sensations. Has anyone else had similar experiences, or does anyone have tips for mitigating the side effects? I want to give this the best chance of working for me. My skin has been so dry and itchy that I can't help but want to scratch it. While I am glad to see some improvement, I am curious if others want to use this more and recommend it.

It doesn't really work for me. I've had it for a month and used it every other day as recommended and it seemed to be doing more harm than good. My skin didn't seem to improve and I have questions about it.
This stuff is a game-changer for me. I use it twice a day, and my skin is softer than ever. Maybe you should try it every other day at first, to see how your skin reacts.
I've been using it for a while and swear by it. My keratosis pilaris has improved a ton, and I only experience mild stinging. I guess it depends on how much you apply and how often, but overdoing it might cause irritation.
I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly. It burns a lot, and I'm not seeing much improvement. Any tips on application would be appreciated.
