Amnesteem 40mg: My Experience with Isotretinoin - Good and Bad
I've been on Amnesteem 40mg for a few months now to treat my severe acne. It's been a roller coaster, but I'm finally starting to see some improvement. However, the side effects have been intense. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm curious about how others are managing the dryness and other unpleasant symptoms. Anyone know if these side effects lessen over time?

I was on Amnesteem for 6 months and it was the worst experience of my life. My skin was so dry and my hair fell out so badly, I kept wearing hats to hide it. All in all it did clear up my skin but I wish I'd found another way before trying this drug out.
I noticed some strange changes in my vision. Anyone else dealt with this?
My skin was so red and peeling, it looked like I had sunburn. I'm on month 3 and hoping it'll pass.
I've been on Amnesteem for six months and the dryness is insane. I've been using a heavy-duty moisturizer and it helps a little, but I'm constantly hydrating. It's worth it though, my skin is finally clearing up.
I had to stop taking it after a week because of the severe headaches and joint pain. It was miserable. That along with the depression and anxiety was just too much and I'm so scared now because my acne is worse than ever. What should I do?
This drug is crazy. You know it's working when your skin starts peeling like crazy. Just make sure to keep all your doctors appointments. They monitor you closely.
I've been using Amnesteem for a year and it's been a lifesaver. Just keep using your moisturizer and try not to pick any spots. It gets better, I promise.
I'm on my second month and I'm already so tired. Is this normal? I can barely keep my eyes open during the day.
