Amox-Clav 250-125mg Tablets: My Experience with Side Effects – Is This Normal?
Hey everyone, I was prescribed Amox-Clav 250-125mg Tablets for a nasty sinus infection. I've been taking them for a few days now, and while the infection seems to be clearing up, I've been experiencing some side effects that have me a bit worried. I've had some diarrhea (which I was told to expect), but also some stomach cramps and I'm not sure if it's related or not. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Should I be concerned about the cramps, or is this just part of the deal? I've been trying to stay on top of things, but it's been a bit rough. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I felt like garbage the first few days but then I started to feel better. Drink lots of water and try to eat some yogurt to keep your gut happy.
I had horrible diarrhea and a rash. My doctor switched me to something else. I think it's good you're being cautious.
Maybe it's not the Amox-Clav doing this to you. Maybe you just have a sensitive stomach.
Cramps can be normal with antibiotics but if you’re really worried, go back to your doctor. I would not wait for it to get worse.
