I got really sick with C. diff after taking Amoxicillin. I thought I was just getting regular diarrohea but then the stomach cramps hit and I knew something was wrong. This is serious. If anyone experiences really loose stools, blood, etc, don't wait. Call a doctor immediately.

Wow, I never knew about the Stevens-Johnson syndrome. That's scary stuff. Good to be aware of all the possible side effects.

Always make sure to tell your doctor about any allergies you have. Allergic reactions to antibiotics can be life-threatening.

I was prescribed Amoxicillin for my son's ear infection. It worked great, but he did get some diarrhea. Just make sure to finish the full course, even if symptoms improve.

Antibiotics can really mess with your gut flora. Probiotics can help counteract some of the side effects. Always finish the course, though, even if you feel better. Stopping early can lead to antibiotic resistance.
