Amoxil 125mg/5ml Susp 150ml: What are your experiences with this antibiotics?
I was prescribed Amoxil 125mg/5ml Susp 150ml for an ear infection, and I'm curious to hear from others who have taken it. How effective was it for you? Did you experience any side effects, and if so, what were they like? I've heard horror stories about allergic reactions, but also that many people tolerate it well. I had no issues at all. Took it for a sinus infection and it worked like a charm. No side effects here.
My doctor said it’s not uncommon to feel a bit off while on antibiotics, just take it easy and drink lots of fluids.
I got really bad stomach pains. Just fixed them with Pepto Bismol. The drug worked well though. I always feel that you should take antibiotics to get rid of the infections before you take the ones that break the bacteria into good ways. Maybe it is just me but I don’t think antibiotics are good for people. Nope, not me.
I think it’s crazy how many people have bad reactions to this stuff. I’ve only had mild upset stomach, but it definitely doesn’t work for everyone. Have to watch out for those bad reactions. I always think the doctor is trying to kill me after they prescribe antibiotics. Maybe they should try this stuff first and then decide if they want to give it to others.
I got really bad diarrhea. It was scary until I realized it was from the antibiotic. Had to call my doctor and take some special medicine to make it stop. Not fun
My sister had a really bad allergic reaction. She's fine now, but it was scary. The hospital had to give her steroids and stuff. I aint taking antibiotics any time soon.
I've taken Amoxil a few times and it's always worked well for me. Just a bit of an upset stomach, but nothing too bad. Drink plenty of water and take it with food!
Be careful with this stuff. My kid had a bad reaction with hives and we had to rush to the ER. It can be scary.
