I've been on Amphetamine 5mg for about 6 months and I can't complain much about the side effects. I do get a headache sometimes but nothing too extreme. My focus improved and I can get more done in a day.
I had a very serious side effect but I just ignored it and thought it was nothing. Big mistake. Don’t do that, if you see anything weird go to your doctor right away. It’s not worth it.
My ADHD is manageable and I work but I often slip into a rut and I've got impulse control issues. Can someone suggest a different med that I could ask my doctor about?
I've also had some trouble with constipation and feeling jittery. It sucks. But definitely better than struggling to focus all day. Has anyone else experienced this?
I won't lie, the dry mouth is the worst. Brush up on saliva substitutes and keep a water bottle handy. It becomes a lifesaver.
