I was recently prescribed Amrix 30mg Capsules to help with muscle spasms and the associated pain. I've been taking them for about a week now, and while they've helped with the muscle spasms, I've also experienced some side effects. I've noticed feeling dizzier and more tired than usual. I've also noticed an upset stomach. Has anyone else experienced these side effects? If so, did they go away with time, or did you need to adjust the dosage? Is it normal to feel this way? I'd appreciate any insights or experiences you guys can share.

I don't know if this is controversial but I think muscle relaxers are way over prescribed. I'd rather have some physical therapy and exercise to fix the muscle problems. I feel like this is just a band-aid solution. I'm not saying it's not helpful or anything, I'm just not a fan of the pills.

I've had a couple of prescriptions for muscle relaxers and this one was actually pretty good. I had some constipation issues but nothing major. I'm always wary of taking these types of meds because of potential issues with my brain but it was worth it.

I'm surprised to hear so many people having issues with this. Maybe it's just me, but I haven't had any side effects at all. I'm lucky I guess. But I guess the downside to that is that the meds might not be working as well as they should.

I found that taking Amrix with a small snack made the upset stomach a lot better. Also, I feel like it's best to take it in the evening because it makes me drowsy.

My doctor warned me about the serotonin syndrome. I was already on an antidepressant and it was a relief when he said we could still use Amrix for me. Just something to keep in mind for anyone out there.
