I've been using Analpram-HC 2.5% Cream for a couple of weeks now to deal with some itching issues around sensitive areas, and I must say, it's been a game-changer. It definitely relieves the pain and the itchiness, but I have some concerns. I’ve noticed a few side effects that I wasn't expecting and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar. The most concerning one is burning at the site of application. I started to get maybe 1 hour after use. It's not unbearable, but it's definitely noticeable. What do you guys think? Is this normal? Should I just ride it out or switch to something else?

I've read about some people experiencing Cushing's syndrome symptoms with topical corticosteroids. Strength is 2.5% is quite high for me.

I had very bad itching around my rectum and started using Analpram-HC 2.5% Cream for 3 weeks. I felt some mild burning at the site of application but it went away with some ice. The real negative side effect was the constant feeling of being tired and extremely weak. I couldn't even get out of bed and was getting very confused. My weight loss also increased. I reported these issues to my doctor who advised me to stop using the cream immediately. I wish I'd known about all the possible side effects before I started using this cream.

Has anyone else experienced any severe side effects like weight gain in the upper back or belly? I've been feeling a bit puffy lately, and I'm not sure if it's related to the cream or just stress.

I've been using this cream for a month, and I haven't had any issues with it. No burning, no itching, just relief. I think it's worth giving it a shot if you're struggling with discomfort.

I hate to say it but it’s odd that any cream that doesn’t target the problem area specifically just makes things worse.

I'm glad to know I'm not alone in this. The burning sensation is tolerable, but the hives I got were a nightmare. Swelling of the mouth and throat was scary too and I had to go to the hospital. I can't really recommend this cream

I've used this cream before, and the burning sensation is totally normal. It usually goes away after a few applications. Just make sure you're not using it too often, as that can irritate the skin even more.

I had a similar issue but it was a pain in my rectum that occurred more than usual. I even got some rectal bleeding. I immediately stopped the use of Analpram-HC 2.5% and switched to a different cream and have noticed an improvement in the situation. If your issue gets worse, please see a doctor immediately.
