I was prescribed Ancobon 250mg Capsules to combat a serious fungal infection. The doctor mentioned it's often used with amphotericin B. Are there any tips for managing side effects? I'm already experiencing some mild stomach pain and fatigue. How common is it for these symptoms to persist?

I'm curious to hear from others who've taken this medication. How was your experience? Were the side effects manageable, or did you have to stop taking it?

I've read about the potential for severe side effects, like liver problems and low potassium levels. Should I be particularly worried, or is it more about being aware of the symptoms?

On a lighter note, while I'm not one to joke about serious health issues, I've found some humor in the fact that my dog won't leave my side now that I'm on Ancobon, probably because I'm not the only one who smells the effects of the meds!

I was prescribed Ancobon for a candida infection. The side effects were a lot to handle, but my doctor said you have to balance it with the potential for the infection to spread to your organs.

I had to stop taking it because of severe allergic reactions. The rash and itching were unbearable. If you start feeling any of those symptoms, don’t hesitate to contact your doctor. Better to be safe!

I've been on amphotericin B and Ancobon together for a few weeks now. It’s tough, but the combination is really effective. I've been careful to monitor my potassium levels because I've heard so many horror stories. I’d keep an eye on yours if I were you.

The dizziness and headaches were the worst for me. Make sure you’re eating regularly because the nausea can steal your appetite.
