I recently started using Anti-Diarrheal 2mg Tablets (Loperamide) for chronic diarrhea related to my bowel condition. I've had a few concerns and wanted to hear from others who have used this medication. I've read about the potential side effects, which can be serious, and I'm hoping to get some real-world insights. Has anyone experienced any of the urgent side effects? I'm looking for details on how quickly they manifested and how they were managed. Also, curious if anyone has tips on managing the dizziness or tiredness that might come with it.

I think part of the issue is that people don't read the instructions properly. This drug can be a lifesaver if used correctly, but it’s not something to mess around with.

I get why they say to be careful with these. I took them once and felt really weak and tired. I thought it was just the diarrhea, but after a few hours, I realized it had to be medication. I took a nap and felt better, but it was super annoying. Watch out!

I never knew about the possibility of allergic reactions until now. Good to know. Thanks for sharing your experience!

This drug saved my vacation last year. I got a severe case of travelers' diarrhea and these tablets got me through the trip. I did feel a bit tired, but it was a small price to pay. Also, make sure to talk to your doctor about the correct dosage.

I had a bad experience with this stuff. I started feeling really weird, like I couldn't breathe properly, and my throat felt tight. I had to rush to the ER. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction. Be super careful if you notice any strange symptoms.

I've had the opposite experience to the previous comment. I've been taking these tablets for over a year for my chronic diarrhea, and they've been fantastic. Just listen to your body and if you feel weird, go to the doctor.

Anyone know if there are any non-medication alternatives that work as well for chronic diarrhea problems?
