I've been using Ustekinumab 90mg/ml Pf Syr Inj for a few months now to manage my psoriasis, and while it's been helpful, the injection site pain is becoming unbearable. I've tried different injection sites and techniques, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what have you done to mitigate the pain?

Have you tried alternating between different injection depth techniques? I found shallow injections to be less painful than deeper ones. Also, make sure you're not injecting into any scars or stretch marks, as they can be more sensitive.

I finally got my doctor to prescribe me lidocaine patches. They're a game-changer. I put one on the injection site 30 minutes before and it numbs the area nicely. I've had no issues with pain since then.

Hope you find some relief. Remember, if the pain is severe or gets worse, talk to your doctor. They might be able to adjust your dosage or switch you to a different medication. Don't suffer in silence!

I wish I had some good advice, but I just deal with it. Maybe try a different brand of needles? I switched from the ones my pharmacy gave me to these smaller ones I got online, and they hurt a lot less.

I think I'll try the numbing cream, that's a good suggestion. Have you tried using a smaller gauge needle? I used to inject insulin and found the smaller needles helped with pain. Also, remember to let the injection site sit heat for a few minutes after.

This is gonna sound dumb, but have you tried putting a heating pad on the injection site after? It helps with the soreness pretty quickly for me.
