Anybody else experiencing major side effects from Synthroid 0.125mg (125mcg) Tablets?
I've been on Synthroid for a few months now, and while it's helped with my hypothyroidism symptoms, I've been experiencing some uncomfortable side effects. I've noticed sudden weight gain, muscle cramps, and some mood changes lately. I'm curious to know if anyone else is dealing with similar issues or has some advice on how to manage them. I've read that these side effects are possible, but I didn't expect them to be this intense.

I feel you. I've been on it for a month and I can't stop sweating, but my doctor says it's normal. Maybe give it more time?
This thread is a hot mess. You guys need to chill. It's just a pill.
Same here. I've had muscle cramps and weight gain. I switched to a different brand and it helped a bit. Might want to try that.
Synthroid is a lifesaver for me, but I do get mood swings. Exercise helps me cope. Maybe give that a shot?
I had to switch to a generic brand because my insurance wouldn't cover Synthroid. I noticed a big difference in side effects. Might be worth talking to your doctor about.
I've been on Synthroid for a while and it's given me sensitivity to heat but I've managed it by staying indoors most of the summer. It's a bummer, but it's worth it.
Has anyone tried switching to a different levothyroxine brand? I've heard it can make a difference. Might be worth a shot.
