Anybody else used Sod Sulfa/sulfur 10-2% Cream for acne? How did it work for you?
I recently started using Sod Sulfa/sulfur 10-2% Cream for my acne and seborrheic dermatitis. The cream contains sulfur and sulfacetamide, which together help to dry out and peel the skin, clearing up blemishes and reducing oiliness. Sulfacetamide also acts as an antibiotic, stopping the growth of bacteria on the skin. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and have noticed some improvements, but I'm curious to hear from others who have tried it. How effective was it for you? What side effects did you experience? Any tips for using this cream? I've read about some serious side effects, so I'm also interested in hearing about those experiences as well.

This cream worked wonders for my acne. I used it consistently for about a month, and my skin cleared up significantly. The best part is that it didn't dry out my skin too much, which is a common issue with other acne treatments. Just be cautious with the sensitivity around your eyes and mouth.
I had no problems with side effects. It's been working well for me, but it's also been pretty hard to find. Does anyone know if there are any generic alternatives?
Did anyone else notice a strong smell? It's like rotten eggs but somehow worse. I can't stand it.
I had a really bad reaction to this stuff. I started getting these crazy hives and my skin was so itchy I couldn't sleep. Had to go to the ER. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction. Scary stuff, man.
I had a pretty bad reaction to it. My skin got really irritated and red, and I had to stop using it. Plus my face got so dry it felt like I had sandpaper on it. Also, the smell was awful. But maybe it's just me.
I had a bit of blindness in the sun and a rash, so I had to switch to something else. Was a bummer because it seemed to be working otherwise.
I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I think it's helping, but it's hard to tell because I'm also using a few other treatments. My doctor recommended it, and she said it should help with the seborrheic dermatitis as well as the acne. It does dry my skin a bit, but I just moisturize more. My doctor said to keep using it for at least a couple of months to see the full effects.
I don't know what I'd do without this stuff. My seborrheic dermatitis was driving me crazy, and this cream has been a lifesaver. It’s a bit harsh, but it gets the job done.
I’ve been using this cream for a while and have seen good results, but I have to be careful with the application. I make sure to avoid my eyes and mouth, and I wear sunscreen because it makes my skin more sensitive to the sun. It’s helped me cut down on face wipes, too! Just remember, consistency is key with this stuff.
I’ve heard that sulfacetamide can cause some pretty serious side effects in rare cases. Anyone who notices any symptoms of liver issues or severe skin reactions should definitely see a doctor right away. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
