Anybody have experience with Lidocaine 4% Cream 15gm for pain relief?
I've been prescribed Lidocaine 4% Cream to help with some discomfort from a skin condition. It's supposed to numb the area and relieve pain, itching, or discomfort. Has anyone else used this? I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The list is pretty long and some of them are serious. I've never had any issues with medication allergies but it's still scary. I'm hoping to hear from people who have experience in using this, whether good or bad!

I used it for a minor procedure and it worked great. No side effects for me. Just make sure to use it as directed and you should be fine.
I've had good experiences with Lidocaine, but only when I used it as directed. I think a lot of people try to overuse it or use it for things it's not meant for. Just be careful and follow the instructions.
I've used it a few times for minor skin issues and it's worked well for me. Just be careful not to apply too much. Follow the instructions carefully. You don't want to overdo it.
I had to use it for a small procedure and it worked well. A good trick for applying it is to put a thin layer on and let it sit for 20 minutes before applying a thicker layer. This helps to spread out the numbing effect.
I had a really bad experience with Lidocaine. I used it for a minor skin issue and ended up with severe swelling and itching. I had to go to the ER. Be really careful with this stuff. If you notice any unusual symptoms, get medical help right away. I wish I had been more aware of the side effects.
