Did anyone experience any chest pain while on Loxapine? I've been having some mild tightness and it's worrying me.
I had a really bad experience with Loxapine. I developed some severe allergic reactions within the first week. It was terrifying, and I had to switch to a different medication.
I've been taking Loxapine for about a year now, and it's been a lifesaver. It has helped in controlling my agitation a lot. However, I did experience some weight gain and constipation. My doctor suggested a diet change and some over-the-counter laxatives, which helped a lot.
I'm on the inhaled powder form for rapid treatment of agitation. It works pretty well, but the side effects can be pretty intense. I've had some trouble with vision changes and eye pain, which was pretty scary. Just make sure to monitor yourself closely.
Anyone else experiencing hair loss? I've lost a lot of hair since I started taking this medication, and it's been really hard on me emotionally.
Honestly, the side effects are pretty manageable if you follow your doctor's advice and report any concerns right away. Loxapine has been crucial in managing my schizophrenia, and I'm grateful for it.
I had to stop taking Loxapine because of the severe eye irritation and blurred vision. It was really hard to deal with, and I felt like I couldn't function normally. Fortunately, my doctor was helpful in switching me to another medication that works just as well without the side effects.
