I've recently been prescribed Methotrexate 1gm/40ml single-use injections for my rheumatoid arthritis. I've heard it can be tough on the body, and the side effects list is a bit scary. Has anyone else had experience with this? What were your side effects like, and how did you manage them? I'm particularly concerned about the long-term effects on my organs like the kidneys and liver. Also, does anyone have tips to make the injection process less painful?

I'm convinced it's worth it. I've been on it for a year now, and while I do have some side effects, the relief from joint pain is worth it.

The worst part for me was the dizziness, like the room would spin out of control. A few times I thought I was going to faint. It went away eventually, but it was scary.

This is a hard drug. But I have also heard that for some people, the benefits outweigh the risks and they end up feeling much better.

I've been on Methotrexate for a few months now, and while it's helped with my joint pain, I've had some pretty bad stomach issues. My doctor suggested taking it with food, which has helped a bit. I'm definitely going to talk to my doctor about monitoring my kidneys more closely.

Is anyone here taking folic acid supplements alongside this? I've heard it helps with some of the side effects.

This stuff is harsh. I've had a couple of episodes of strange sensations in my legs and feet, like pins and needles. It felt like numbness but also weird tingling at the same time. Are there any other ways to deal with it?
