I recently started taking Xalkori 250mg Capsules for my lung cancer treatment. It's early days, but I'm curious to hear from others who have been on this medication. What side effects have you experienced? How have you managed them? I've noticed some mild fatigue and a bit of an upset stomach, but nothing too severe. I'm also a bit concerned about the more serious side effects listed in the medication guide. Have any of you dealt with anything urgent? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been lucky to avoid the serious side effects, but I did experience some dizziness and a slow heartbeat at first. My doctor adjusted my dosage, and it's been much better since then. I wish I had a faster heartbeat but it's all about the trade-offs.

Man, I had no idea this med could cause such weird symptoms like burning or numbness. Scary stuff!

I've been on Xalkori for a while and honestly, the side effects have been manageable. I've had some constipation and diarrhea, but taking fiber supplements and staying hydrated has helped a lot. I've also experienced some mild headaches, but nothing too bad. My oncologist mentioned that it's important to report any changes in vision or severe headaches immediately, as these could be signs of high blood pressure. Keep your doctor in the loop!

I’m on my second month of Xalkori and so far, so good. I’ve had some mild stomach issues, but nothing I can’t handle. I’ve been really careful with my diet and it seems to be helping. Just make sure you’re not skipping meals and staying hydrated as well. My doctor also mentioned that keeping a food diary can help identify any specific triggers. It’s also been a game-changer to eat smaller, more frequent meals instead of three big ones.

I’ve heard some scary stuff about the liver problems. Anyone had any issues with that?

I've been on Xalkori for about a year now. I’ve had some issues with my electrolytes, but regular blood tests and adjustments to my diet have helped a lot. My doctor also recommended taking electrolytes in liquid form. It’s been a bit of a challenge, but it’s manageable. Just stay on top of your health checks and listen to your doctors. Your body will thank you.

I've been on Xalkori for about 6 months now. The first few weeks were tough with some serious fatigue and nausea, but it's gotten better. I've also experienced some muscle spasms and joint pain, which my doctor said is common. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body. It's also crucial to regularly monitor your blood pressure and electrolytes.

I felt extremely weak after my first dose. But my doctor told me this could be a sign of a lot of stuff my body was fighting. Just make sure to report any abnormal symptoms right away.
