I've been prescribed Prednisolone Sod 1% Ophthsoln 10ml for my eye inflammation. The drops are helping with the swelling, but I've been experiencing a really weird change in taste. Has anyone else dealt with this? Also, the burning sensation when I put the drops in is no joke! I've had to stop mid drop due to burning and stinging sensation but I know its normal. Anyone have any advice? Are there any home remedies to reduce the burning sensation? Are there any side effects I should be worried about? It's been a week now, and I'm starting to worry about the long-term effects. I've read about some serious side effects, like changes in eyesight and severe eye irritation. Should I be concerned? Anyone have any experience with long term use?

I've had to use these drops a few times, and I've never had any serious side effects. I did get a bit of a headache the first time I used them, but it went away after a day or so. I would definitely recommend talking to your doctor if you have any concerns, though. They can help you weigh the risks and benefits.

I've never had any issues with Prednisolone. I just make sure to use them exactly as prescribed. The taste change is annoying, but it's a small price to pay for the relief they provide. And the burning should go away after a few days. Just be patient and keep using them as directed.

I had a horrible allergic reaction to these drops. I woke up with my eyes completely swollen shut. I had to go to the ER. I'm glad I was able to seek emergency medical attention, but it was still scary and I am still recovering.

I had changes in my eyesight and severe eye irritation. It was really scary. I'm not sure if it was because of the drop but I had to stop using them and seek emergency medical attention. It is important to be careful when using these drops. Your health is important.
