I was recently prescribed Theophylline 450mg ER Tablets for my COPD, and while it's helped with my breathing, I've been feeling really restless and jittery. The doctor mentioned that I could get blood tests to check my levels, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had experiences like this or can share some tips on medication management. Also wondering if the blood tests are painful or not.

I've been taking these for a few months, and it's been great. My doctor told me a key thing: don't smoke or drink alcohol and it helps manage the side effects. I had some stomach issues to start but that went away after a couple of weeks.

Theophylline can definitely be a game-changer for COPD management, but it's crucial to stay on top of your blood tests and monitor your symptoms. Communication with your doctor is key. Also, take it easy when you first start, and don't push yourself too hard if you feel restless. Give your body time to adjust.

I definitely feel more energetic on Theophylline, but it's a trade-off. I've learned to manage the restlessness by scheduling my activities and taking breaks when I need to. It's all about finding a balance.

Theophylline can definitely cause restlessness and jitteriness, especially if your levels are too high. Make sure you're getting regular blood tests to monitor your levels. It's important to stay within the therapeutic range to avoid these side effects. Also, try to avoid caffeine while on this medication as it can exacerbate the symptoms.

Who else loves the blood tests to check your levels? My favorite part of the day. I actually got one yesterday and it was quite pleasant.
